Dragons Travel Baseball Tryouts - January 9th

We are pleased to announce the tryout dates and details for the 2021 travel baseball season for 8U, 10U and 11U!

Pending pandemic related local rules and regulations, the date that we are targeting is Saturday, January 9th. We will be holding the tryouts for the above three age groups at the Phield House (814 Spring Garden Street).

The 11U tryouts will be from 9-11am, the 10U tryouts from 1-3pm, and the 8U tryouts from 3-5pm.

Please note that all three teams have different tryout formats, but the first step for each team is currently scheduled for January 9th. Please also note that given the difference in age groups, all three teams have different levels of commitment and cost. For example, the 11U team will play more games and has third party (non-parent) coaching.

To help defray the cost, ALL PDSA teams offer scholarships and requests for scholarship will be handled on case by case basis. And starting in 2021, the teams will be doing fundraising to cover some of the costs. The details of that are still pending.

For those interested in the 9U age group, that team is not planning tryouts until March, and all inquiries about 9U can be directed to Giovanni Leone at gioleo926@gmail.com.

For those interested in our 7U program, we anticipate forming that team in the spring/summer and will circulate information at that time.

Please note that the current restrictions on indoor gatherings are set to expire on January 3rd, 2021. Leading up to that date, the PDSA will continue to monitor the situation and make a decision at that time whether tryouts will be delayed.
